The Glasgow broadcloth fabric features a printed design of circular shapes and polka dots in the main colors of midnight blue, cotton white, and antique mauve purple. This symbolic design is digitally printed on one side. The broadcloth fabric is soft to the touch, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is ideal for outerwear such as trenches, jackets, vests, and blazers, as well as for home textiles like coasters and kitchen towels. Additionally, its predominantly polyester composition and easy care make this fabric an optimal choice for religious textiles such as altars.
To care for this fabric, it is advisable to follow certain precautions such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and avoiding tumble drying. Dry cleaning of garments made with this fabric is not recommended.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), where the print is applied directly onto the fabric using a high-pressure, high-temperature thermal press. The designs pigments vaporize and are absorbed by the fabrics polyester fibers, permanently embedding them. This technique ensures high image quality and resistance to washing and rubbing, allowing the design to maintain its color and intensity for a long time.
For solid color combinations, earth tones like beige or dark brown can be used, or even paler shades such as pale pink or light gray to highlight the main colors of the printed design.
