The fabric we are going to discuss is Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. The printed design combines circles and polka dots in cotton white, night black, and daisy pink. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric is soft to the touch and has a weight of 380 gr/m2, with a width of 150 cm. The color combination of the design allows it to be paired with plain fabrics in white, black, and pink, as well as in any range of grays.
Glasgow cloth is a very versatile fabric and can be used in various applications. Its use is common in making coats, trenches, jackets, vests, and blazers. It is also used in creating coasters for the dining room and kitchen towels. The recommended season for use is winter and autumn/winter 2021.
It is important to note the following care instructions for this type of fabric: no bleaching, maximum washing temperature is 40ºC, dry cleaning is not allowed, iron at a warm temperature, and tumble drying is not permitted.
Finally, this fabric is printed using sublimation technology for polyester, which allows the ink to set directly onto the fibers without affecting their feel and softness. This printing process provides high image quality and durability in the design.
