The fabric to describe is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, whose print features shapes of circles and dots in cotton white, night black, and denim blue tones on a granulated texture background. This design is ideal for making feminine garments such as dresses, skirts, tops, or cardigans, as well as knitwear for both women and men, in combination with solid colors like black, red, gray, or mustard yellow.
The base fabric stands out for being elastic and light to the touch, which makes it very comfortable and suitable for all kinds of garments. In addition, its weight of 180 gr/m2 and its width of 150 cm make it ideal for making clothing. The printed design is made using the sublimation technique on polyester, on only one side of the fabric, which guarantees great durability and resistance to washing.
On the other hand, the care that must be taken into account when working with this fabric includes washing at maximum temperatures of 40°C, ironing at a cool temperature, and it is recommended to avoid bleaching and washing with trichloroethylene.
Regarding printing technology, sublimation consists of printing a design on transfer paper using sublimable inks, and transferring the image to the fabric using heat and pressure. In this way, the printed design is permanently fixed on the fabric, without affecting its softness and flexibility.
