The Recycled Lycra Fabric - Seal is an elastic and resistant fabric, with a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, certified as sustainable by GRS. Its printed design features a houndstooth pattern with predominant colors of canary yellow and cotton white and touches of corn yellow. This design would combine perfectly with plain garments in black, white or any shade of yellow.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which allows high definition of details and wear resistance. The characteristics of the fabric include its texture and elasticity, as well as a chlorine-resistant finish and a high UV protection factor. These characteristics are ideal for applications in lingerie, sportswear and swimwear, for garments such as bikinis, swimsuits, leotards and leggings.
It is important to take into account the specific care of this fabric, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at low temperature and avoiding the dryer. In addition, the garment does not admit dry cleaning.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is carried out through the transformation of liquid ink to gas and its subsequent fixation in the fabric through high temperature and pressure. This allows a high quality of printing, great durability and a lower environmental impact by using water-based inks and not generating solid ink waste.
