The Lycra Polyester fabric - Cairo is a soft and elastic fabric weighing 220 gr/m2, with a width of 150 cm and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Its printed design features an elegant houndstooth pattern in mainly canary yellow and cotton white tones. This design combines perfectly with other solid colors such as black, white, dark green, and mustard. It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed on one side, meaning it does not have prints on both sides.
Regarding its characteristics, the fabric has an elastic and soft texture to the touch, and is finished to resist chlorine and provide very high UV protection (UPF 50+). As for the printed design, its houndstooth pattern is classic and versatile, making it perfect for a wide variety of clothing, lingerie, and sportswear. Recommended applications and uses for this fabric include sportswear (for women, men, and children), lingerie (bodysuits and bras/bralettes), fashion (knitwear and tops), scrunchies, as well as bikinis and swimsuits for both sports and fashion.
It is important to be careful when washing this fabric, as it requires washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and should not be bleached. It can be dry cleaned with the exception of trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a low temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which means that the design is printed directly onto the fabric using special inks that are heated and turn into gas, penetrating deeply into the fabric fibers. This achieves a vibrant and durable design that does not fade over time.
