Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas – Dallas is a polyester fabric with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its printed design is a combination of houndstooth shapes with main colors in burnt rose, cotton white, and cadillac pink. This mix of shades provides an elegant and timeless aesthetic that combines perfectly with other solid colors such as pearl gray, cream, or black.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, which provides a crisp and high-quality finish. The base fabric has a rough and stiff texture to the touch, as well as an opaque finish that makes it ideal for use in decoration and fashion.
Given its 100% polyester composition and GRS certification, it is a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric. Among the applications and uses it can be given are the decoration of frames, paintings, or cushions, the making of pants, toiletry bags, or purses, the creation of baskets, placemats, aprons, tote bags, wallets, or backpacks, and even its upholstery on sofas, chairs, or armchairs.
For the care of the fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Although it admits dry cleaning with solvents, it is recommended to iron at a cold temperature and tumble dry at a reduced temperature to preserve its quality.
The sublimation printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric guarantees high image resolution and durable pigment fixation on the fiber. This technique consists of digitally transferring the image to special paper and, by applying heat and pressure, transferring the ink from the paper to the fabric in a homogeneous and resistant layer.
