The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a type of corduroy fabric with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, boasting a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It features a houndstooth print design in purple and white tones, with 54.47% darkmagenta purple, 43.94% cotton white, and 0.73% jasmine purple. This printed design stands out for its elegance, sophistication, and timelessness, making it perfect for creating fashion garments such as trousers, jackets, blazers, coats, or vests, as well as for interior decoration, including upholstery, cushions, baskets, or kitchen and bedroom accessories. Furthermore, its soft texture and visual sheen make it pleasant to the touch and attractive in appearance.
It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only. Therefore, it is important to remember that it is not a double-sided printed fabric but printed on one side only.
In terms of general characteristics, Dublin velvety corduroy stands out for its softness to the touch and visual sheen, as well as its resistance and durability. On the other hand, the houndstooth print design in purple and white tones offers a classic and timeless elegance that is always in style.
Regarding applications and uses, it can be highlighted that this fabric is perfect for making fashion garments such as trousers, jackets, blazers, coats, or vests, as well as for interior decoration such as upholstery, cushions, baskets, or kitchen and bedroom accessories.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not dry clean it with trichloroethylene, and iron it at a cool temperature. It is also not suitable for tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique involves pre-printing the image on special sublimation paper and then transferring it to the fabric under specific temperature and pressure conditions so that the colors transition from a solid to a gaseous state without passing through a liquid state, becoming impregnated in the fabric fibers.
