The base fabric is a fine water-repellent fabric called Storm, composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2. Its width is 145 cm and it can be used in various applications, such as fashion, home textiles, or sports apparel for the winter season. The printed design features houndstooth shapes in three main colors: construction cone orange, cotton white, and tanned yellow. This design can be combined with other solid colors that complement the chromatic palette of the print. The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric and the design, its water-repellent capacity and its thin, soft touch texture stand out. The design is smooth and presents the simplicity of characteristic houndstooth shapes, making it versatile and easy to combine. Suggested applications for this fabric are diverse, such as jackets and raincoats for men, women, and children, shower curtains, among others.
As for care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and not to dry clean it, and to iron at a cool temperature. Also, tumble drying is not allowed.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, a process in which the design is printed on transfer paper with sublimation inks, and is placed on the fabric through heat and pressure, causing the inks to turn into gas and penetrate the fabric fibers, creating a durable and wash-resistant result.
