Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a 260 gr/m2 canvas fabric made of 100% polyester. Its plain printed color is Gulf Blue, obtained through sublimation technology with a CMYK of 18, 6, 6, 0. This color transmits freshness and tranquility. Gulf Blue is a secondary color that combines shades of blue, green, and gray, which makes it a versatile color and easy to combine with other neutral colors like white and black, or even with other shades of blue and green.
It should be noted that this fabric is single-sided printed by digital textile printing, which gives it greater durability and wear resistance on the unprinted side. The fabric texture is rough, stiff, and opaque, which makes it an ideal fabric for making decorative pieces, such as cushions, curtains, upholstery for chairs and sofas, or baskets.
Regarding applications and uses, in addition to those mentioned, it can be used for making trousers, accessories such as toiletry bags, purses, wallets, backpacks, and hats, as well as for home textiles such as table runners, placemats, and aprons. It is a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric, certified by GRS.
Care instructions include washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not use bleach, iron at a cool temperature, and allow to dry at a reduced temperature. It can also be dry cleaned with solvents.
Finally, the printing technology used, sublimation, is based on a chemical process that allows the transfer of color homogeneously and durably onto the fabric through the use of heat and pressure. This process guarantees color fidelity and its resistance to washing and wear.
