Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a 260 gr/m2 polyester fabric, with a width of 160 cm and GRS certification. The solid printed color is Purple, Purple Dragon, with a CMYK of 22 28 4 0. Its texture is rough and stiff to the touch, with an opaque appearance. This secondary color evokes the mysterious night and combines well with blue, black, and gray tones. It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a sustainable and timeless fabric, ideal for decoration, fashion, and other uses. Among all the applications and uses that can be given to this base fabric, the upholstery of sofas and chairs, the making of pants and accessories such as wallets and backpacks, as well as the creation of decorative baskets and frames, stand out especially.
To keep this fabric in good condition, it is important to follow the recommended care instructions, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not ironing at high temperatures, not tumble drying at high temperatures, and, if dry cleaning is needed, doing so with solvents.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is polyester sublimation. This technique consists of printing an image on transfer paper with sublimation ink and transferring it to the fabric using a heat press. The ink turns into gas and penetrates the polyester fibers, creating a high-quality and durable print.
