Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a 260 gr/m2 and 100% polyester fabric, with a width of 160cm and GRS certification. Its solid color is Desert Sand Brown, with intense shades of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black in its CMYK (18 26 31 3), which gives it a rustic yet sophisticated look. This color combines especially well with earth and beige tones, as well as with stronger tones such as red and dark green.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that its durability is not the same as that of a dyed fabric. However, the color in digital printing is much more resistant due to its fixation in the polyester fiber.
Furthermore, the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas has a rough and rigid texture, which gives it the ability to adapt to different types of decorative and fashion projects. In addition, its GRS certification makes it a sustainable and eco-friendly option.
This fabric is ideal for home decoration, in cushions, baskets, upholstery for sofas and chairs, and frames; for fashion, in pants, wallets, backpacks, and hats, as well as for making toiletry bags and coin purses.
Regarding the care of the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas, it is recommended not to use bleach and to wash at a maximum of 30 degrees. Dry cleaning with solvents can be performed, and ironing should be at a cold temperature. It can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing the image on special transfer paper and applying it with heat and pressure to the fabric to fix the color in the polyester fiber, thus achieving high quality and durability of the printed color.
