Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a canvas-type fabric made of 100% polyester, weighing 260 gr/m2. The solid printed color is dark orange with the following CMYK values: 17 42 100 6. This shade can be symbolically considered a warm color, associated with passion and energy. Technically, it is a secondary color obtained from the primary colors cyan, magenta, and yellow. Dark orange pairs well with colors like brown, dark green, and navy blue. It is important to note that this is a single-sided fabric printed using digital textile printing.
The base fabric has a series of characteristics such as a rough, rigid feel and an opaque visual. Furthermore, it has GRS certifications and is considered sustainable due to its composition of recycled materials. The fabric is suitable for a wide variety of applications and uses, such as decorating frames and canvases, making fashion garments like trousers, accessories like wallets and hats, and everyday objects like toiletry bags and coin purses. Additionally, it can be used in home textiles like baskets, cushions, and aprons, among others.
Regarding the necessary care for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. The fabric allows dry cleaning with solvents, ironing at a cool temperature, and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used for the base fabric is polyester sublimation, a process by which the ink turns into gas and penetrates the fabric fibers, obtaining a high-quality and durable image on the printed material. It is important to mention that, being digital textile printing, the fabric is not dyed but printed on one side, which allows for vibrant and sharp colors.
