Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas – Dallas is a resistant and versatile fabric, composed entirely of recycled polyester. Its weight of 260 gr/m2 and width of 160 cm make it suitable for multiple uses in decoration, fashion and home textiles. The plain color printed on this fabric is a poison green with a CMYK of 53 32 91 18. This color is characterized by being vibrant and bright, which combines especially well with earth tones, mustard and blues. The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it has a rough and rigid texture to the touch and its appearance is completely opaque. On the other hand, the printed color is resistant and durable, in addition to having good fixation on the fabric. The Recycled PET Canvas – Dallas is a sustainable fabric certified by GRS.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the decoration of frames and paintings, the elaboration of cushions and baskets for living rooms, as well as the making of pants, accessories and toiletry bags. It is also ideal for upholstering sofas, chairs and armchairs, and can be used to make fashion wallets, backpacks and hats. In addition, it adapts perfectly for the elaboration of aprons, table runners and placemats.
To maintain the characteristics of the Recycled PET Canvas – Dallas, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned with solvents and ironed at a cool temperature. The dryer can also be used, although at its reduced temperature.
Finally, the fabric of the Recycled PET Canvas – Dallas is printed using the sublimation technique (polyester), which uses a special ink that evaporates and adheres to the fibers of the fabric, achieving exceptional print quality and high durability in the printed color.
