Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a canvas-type fabric with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 260 gr/m2. Its width is 160 centimeters and it is available in a solid color printed in Sage Green, indicated by a CMYK of 22 12 32 0. This color is characterized by being a fresh and strong tone that evokes nature and transmits a feeling of balance and harmony. It can be combined with neutral tones such as white and gray, as well as with other shades of green or blue.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is characterized by being a rough and stiff fabric to the touch, with an opaque visual appearance.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its resistance and durability stand out, making it an excellent option for applications and uses such as decoration, both indoor and outdoor, for making fashion garments, accessories and household items, such as cushions, baskets, aprons, among others. The base fabric also has GRS certification and is a sustainable option as it is recycled.
Regarding the care we should take into account for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and iron at a cool temperature. In addition, it allows dry cleaning with solvents and can be tumble dried at reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows vivid and durable images to be printed on the surface of the fabric. This process is carried out by thermal transfer of ink, which turns into gas, penetrates the polyester fiber and then solidifies to create a resistant and durable printed image.
