Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas features a solid color printed in Goose Grey, with a CMYK of 15 13 14 0. This shade is defined by its elegance and sophistication, and it pairs wonderfully with colors such as white, black, blue, or red. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with this solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which ensures high quality and definition in the printed image.
Regarding its general characteristics, the base fabric has a rough and rigid texture, with a coarse feel to the touch and an opaque finish. This type of canvas is composed of 100% polyester, which gives it high tear resistance and great durability. In addition, it is a sustainable and recycled fabric, with GRS certification.
As for the applications and uses of the canvas, its versatility stands out. It can be used for interior decoration, such as in making cushions, frames, pictures, or table placemats. Furthermore, its resistance allows it to be used in upholstery, for upholstering sofas, chairs, or armchairs. Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach or subject it to temperatures above 30ºC during washing. It can be dry cleaned with solvents and ironed at a cool temperature. Additionally, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process is based on transferring the printed image by applying heat and pressure to the base fabric, which guarantees high color fixation and great durability.
