Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a 100% polyester canvas fabric with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its plain printed color is a dark mint green with CMYK: 87 32 61 23. This color transmits harmony and freshness that evokes nature. It is a secondary color composed of blue, yellow, and black, which gives it a soft yet elegant tone. Combined with white, black, or gray, more sober harmonies are achieved, while with yellow or fuchsia, it can lead to more daring and vibrant combinations.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
Regarding its characteristics, the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas has a rough and rigid texture to the touch and an opaque visual finish. Furthermore, it is a recycled and sustainable fabric, certified with the GRS seal, so its purchase implies social and environmental responsibility.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are decoration in frames and pictures, outdoor in cushions, fashion in trousers and accessories such as backpacks or wallets. It can also be applied in home textiles such as table runners, placemats, baskets, cushions, or in upholstery for sofas and armchairs.
Regarding the care this fabric needs, it is necessary to avoid bleaching and wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be ironed at a cool temperature, also admits dry cleaning with solvents and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design using a special ink that, through heat and pressure, turns into gas and penetrates the fabric fibers. This process is especially suitable for synthetic fibers, as is the case with polyester canvas.
