The base fabric, Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas, is made of 100% polyester with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The printed solid color is dark gray (DarkGrey), with a CMYK of 31 26 25 4; making it a color with subtle warm tones. It perfectly complements blues, greens, and pinks, making it an ideal color to combine in any environment. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing.
The texture of the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is rough and rigid to the touch, while its visual appearance is opaque. This makes it ideal for use in the creation of fashion accessories, interior decoration, and home textiles. Furthermore, its degree of sustainability is maximum, as it has GRS certification and is made from recycled materials.
Among the applications and uses of the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas are the creation of accessories, such as toiletry bags, coin purses, wallets, backpacks, and hats. It can also be used in interior decoration, such as cushions, baskets, hoops, table runners, and aprons. It is suitable for upholstering sofas, chairs, and armchairs. In addition, it is an excellent fabric for making pants and tote bags.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is necessary not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Dry cleaning with solvents is also allowed, as is cold ironing and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to produce the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is sublimation. This technique consists of applying heat and pressure to transfer the printed design from special paper to the fabric. When subjected to temperatures ranging from 180 to 200°C, the sublimation inks transition from a solid to a gaseous state and adhere to the polyester of the fabric, creating a high-quality and durable print.
