The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Cairo, 220 gr/m2, in white. The solid printed color is a vibrant medium Teal Blue-Green obtained with the following ink content: Cyan-80, Magenta-40, Yellow-47, and Black-29, reflecting a CMYK of 80 40 47 29. This secondary color combines perfectly with whites, blacks, and pastel shades. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures a vibrant and long-lasting color.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elasticity and soft feel, making it ideal for sportswear and lingerie due to its comfort and body-conforming ability. Furthermore, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+, making it perfect for swimwear. On the other hand, the solid printed color is intense and vibrant, thanks to sublimation printing technology on polyester.
Among its applications and uses, we can find everything from sportswear and swimwear such as tops, bikinis, and swimsuits, to lingerie like bras and bralettes. It is also ideal for knitwear and scrunchies, given its elasticity that allows for a wide variety of designs and creative possibilities.
It is important to consider some care instructions for this fabric, such as not bleaching it and washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is permitted, except for the use of trichloroethylene, and ironing at a cool temperature is recommended. It should not be tumble-dried to preserve the quality and durability of the fabric.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a process that uses heat and pressure to transfer ink from special paper to the Polyester Lycra - Cairo fabric. This process ensures high precision in color reproduction and great durability of the printed fabric.
