Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

This base fabric is a polyester lycra called Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2, with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is midnight black with a CMYK of 79, 62, 54, 61. This color represents subtle elegance and sophistication through its darkness and depth. It is a color that easily harmonizes with other dark tones, such as shades of grey or brown, and also stands out beautifully with lighter tones such as white and pastel shades.

It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing. The characteristics of this plain fabric are diverse; on the one hand, it has an elastic and soft texture to the touch, and on the other hand, it stands out for its chlorine resistance and high UV protection of 50+.

Cairo polyester lycra is a very versatile fabric suitable for the sports, lingerie, fashion, swimwear, and other industries. For example, it is applicable in sportswear for women, men, and children, as well as for lingerie such as bras or bralettes and bodysuits. Furthermore, it is ideal for knitwear, tops, bikinis, and swimsuits for the beach or pool.

Regarding care, several precautions are essential. Bleaching is not allowed, the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC, dry cleaning is permitted except for the use of trichloroethylene, and ironing should be at a cool temperature. It is important to note that the fabric cannot be tumble-dried.

Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology (polyester). This digital textile printing process ensures the creation of sharp and colorful images or designs without affecting the softness and elasticity of the fabric.
