The base fabric for this material is a Polyester Lycra - Cairo weighing 220 gr/m2, with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. This makes it an elastic fabric with a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of 50+. The solid color printed is a rose-gold pink, obtained from the following ink combination: 5 cyan, 16 magenta, 7 yellow, and 0 black, resulting in a soft and delicate tone with golden nuances. It pairs very well with pastel tones, beige, and white, creating a soft and feminine look.
It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only, meaning it is not a dyed fabric. Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it has a soft and elastic texture and feel, making it ideal for sportswear, lingerie, womens/mens fashion, and swimwear.
As for the applications and uses of Polyester Lycra - Cairo, it can be highlighted in sportswear for women, men, and children, lingerie such as bodysuits and bras, knitwear, tops and accessories like scrunchies, and swimsuits and bikinis for swimwear fashion. Its high chlorine resistance and UV protection make it an excellent choice for garments intended for aquatic activities.
It is important to care for this fabric with caution to ensure its durability. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not tumble dry, and iron at a cool temperature. It allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high precision in reproducing colors and complex designs on the fabric, achieving a soft and durable finish. This technique involves printing the desired image on paper, and then, using heat and pressure, the ink turns into gas and transfers to the fabric fiber, penetrating it and creating a permanent finish.
