Description

The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2 with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, with a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is iridescent purple, reflecting a CMYK of 82 100 19 7. The secondary color is a vibrant shade of purple with bluish nuances, conferring a fresh and sophisticated look. It combines well with cool tones such as blue, green, and pink, but also with neutral tones such as gray and white. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the color does not penetrate the fabrics fiber but adheres to its surface only.

The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elasticity, its soft touch, and its chlorine resistance. In addition, it has a very high UPF (UV protection) factor of 50+, making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear. Regarding applications and uses, it can be used for sportswear for men, women, and children, lingerie, both in bodysuits and bras/bralettes, knit tops, and swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits. It is also useful for making scrunchies.

Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to avoid bleaching and not to tumble dry. It can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and it can be dry-cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a low temperature.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves the transfer of inks through heat and pressure to create a solid and durable image on the fabrics surface. This technique allows for great sharpness in printing and greater fidelity in color reproduction.
