The base fabric of this textile is a Polyester Lycra - Cairo weighing 220 gr/m2 with a width of 150 cm and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. The solid color printed on this fabric is a beautiful purple-magenta shade with a CMYK of 51 97 4 0, which means its primary tone is magenta with a touch of cyan and yellow. This color pairs very well with nude and grey tones.
It is important to note that the fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but a printed one. This technique allows for great precision and quality in printing, although the fabric may be less soft compared to traditionally dyed fabrics.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, we can say that it is elastic and soft to the touch, chlorine-resistant, and boasts a very high UV protection of 50+. Its polyester and elastane composition gives it excellent recovery capacity after stretching. As for the solid printed color, its finish is maintained over time and with use, so the color will remain vibrant over time.
The base fabric with this print is suitable for various uses, from sportswear for men, women, and children, lingerie, bodysuits, bras, tops, to accessories like scrunchies, swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits. Due to its softness and flexibility, this fabric is perfect for knitwear and offers great versatility.
To maintain this fabric in good condition, it is important to follow the indicated care instructions, such as avoiding the use of chlorine, washing at no more than 40ºC, not ironing at high temperatures, not tumble drying, and avoiding the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning.
Finally, the printing technology used to produce this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which guarantees excellent color fixation and high definition in the print. During this process, the printed design transitions from a solid to a gaseous state, allowing it to integrate into the base fabric without losing quality or definition in the image.
