The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2, a type of elastic fabric composed of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is bright maroon red with a CMYK value of 23 100 58 18. This secondary color is vibrant and suggestive, evoking passion and energy. Bright maroon combines well with neutral tones such as black and white, as well as with bright and luminous tones such as yellow and orange.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, a technique that guarantees high color fidelity and precision in details. The characteristics of the base fabric include an elastic and soft texture to the touch, which makes it comfortable to wear and easy to work with. In addition, it has finishes that make it chlorine resistant and offer very high UV protection of 50+, making it ideal for sportswear and swimwear.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the making of sportswear, lingerie, tops, swimsuits and bikinis, as well as accessories such as scrunchies. In addition, its high elasticity and softness also make it ideal for making fitted garments such as bras and bralettes.
To keep this fabric in perfect condition, it is necessary to take into account some specific care, such as avoiding the use of bleach, not exceeding 40ºC in washing, not tumble drying and ironing at low temperature. Dry cleaning is recommended except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation technology, which allows for vibrant and detailed printing with high color fidelity. The technique consists of printing the image on transfer paper and impregnating it into the fabric using heat and pressure, which allows the pigment to be strongly fixed without affecting the texture or elasticity of the fabric.
