Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2, with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which gives it an elastic and soft texture. The solid color printed on the fabric is a vibrant tangerine orange, with a ink combination of 14% cyan, 53% magenta, 55% yellow, and 3% black, resulting in a CMYK of 14 53 55 3. This secondary color, being a warm shade, harmoniously combines with yellow, pink, and red tones.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the color is transferred only to one side of the fabric, making it a printed color and not a dyed fabric.

Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its chlorine resistance stands out, making it ideal for swimwear; its soft and elastic texture, which makes it perfect for body-hugging garments such as sportswear or lingerie; and its very high UV protection factor 50+, which makes it a suitable fabric for outdoor wear.

The Cairo fabric, weighing 220 gr/m2, has multiple applications and uses, such as sportswear for men, women, and children, lingerie and bralettes, fashion tops, scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits. Furthermore, its weight and composition make it suitable for knitted garments, which further expands its possibilities of use.

As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid the use of trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.

Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of a thermal transfer process of ink to the fabric through heat and pressure, allowing for high print quality and a wide range of bold colors.
