The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Cairo, 220 gr/m2, in a plain color Orange/School Bus Yellow with a CMYK of 13 45 82 3. The secondary color adds a sense of energy and vitality with a warm and vibrant touch, making it ideal for creating sportswear or swimwear that requires a dynamic look. Orange is commonly associated with creativity, passion, and self-confidence, while school bus yellow is a cheerful and bright color that conveys optimism and happiness. This color pairs particularly well with neutral tones such as white or gray and can also be combined with bolder shades like pink or red.
It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The general characteristics of the base fabric include a soft feel and excellent elasticity, making it an ideal choice for manufacturing fitted or high-compression garments. Furthermore, the fabric has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of 50+, making it suitable for swimwear or outdoor activities.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are varied and include sportswear for women, men, and children, lingerie such as bodysuits and bras, fashion tops, scrunchies, and swimwear like bikinis and swimsuits. Additionally, the fabric is timeless, meaning it is suitable for use in any season.
It is essential to consider the necessary care to maintain the quality of the fabric. The fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not bleached, not ironed at high temperatures, and not tumble dried. The fabric can be dry cleaned except for trichloroethylene, allowing for professional cleaning when necessary.
Finally, the printing technology used on the fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for printing vibrant and durable designs on the fabric. Sublimation is a heat transfer ink technique that involves combining an inkjet printer, sublimation ink, and a heat press to transfer the ink to the fabric. This process ensures image sharpness and lasting print quality.
