Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2 in plain Wine Red color, obtained with the combination of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks in percentages of 19, 87, 72, and 9 respectively. Wine Red is an elegant and sophisticated color that conveys a sense of passion and strength. This color combines especially well with tones such as gold, beige, and dark gray.

The base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the design is printed on one of its sides, instead of dyeing the entire fabric. This technique allows for greater precision and variety of designs, in addition to not affecting the softness and elasticity of the fabric.

Among the characteristics of the base fabric, its elastic and soft texture stands out, as well as its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. Polyester Lycra fabrics are ideal for sportswear, lingerie, swimwear, and knitwear, and are also used to make accessories such as Scrunchies.

Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach or tumble dry. Dry cleaning is possible, but not with trichloroethylene, and it is advised to iron at low temperature.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (Polyester), which consists of transferring the printed design from special paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique allows for high image quality and durability, and can only be applied to polyester fabrics or blends containing this material.
