Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The base fabric of this garment is a Polyester Lycra called Cairo, with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Blush Lavender, with a CMYK value of 8 12 4 0 and a combination of white with a pale, soft pinkish hue. This color can be perfectly combined with grays, light blues, and pastel shades in general.

It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is a single-sided printed fabric and not deep-dyed. The fabric has an elastic and soft texture, and has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+, making it ideal for sportswear and swimwear.

Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, we can highlight its use in sportswear for men, women, and children, as well as in lingerie, knitwear, and swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits. It can also be used in the making of tops and accessories such as scrunchies.

It is important to take into account the necessary care to keep the fabric in optimal conditions. Bleaching is not recommended, the maximum washing temperature should be 40ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, and ironing at a cool temperature is recommended. Tumble drying of the fabric is not recommended.

Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which uses heat and pressure to transfer the design from sublimation paper to the base fabric. This technique provides durable and high-quality results in digital textile printing.
