Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The base fabric, Cairo polyester lycra of 220 gr/m2, has a solid color printed in white and soft ivory with CMYK inks in proportions of 1% cyan, 1% magenta, 9% yellow and 0% black. This soft secondary color is versatile and combines especially well with terracotta tones, dark greens, and browns.

The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.

The base fabric is elastic, soft to the touch, and features a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection. The printed color is durable and remains vibrant even after several washes.

The applications of the fabric are numerous, as it can be used for making sportswear, lingerie, swimwear, scrunchies, among others. It is ideal for making bikinis and swimsuits due to its chlorine resistance and UV protection.

It is important to follow the recommended care instructions for the fabric to maintain its properties to the maximum. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a cool temperature, and not to tumble dry. Dry cleaning is also allowed, except with trichloroethylene.

The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows direct ink transfer to the fabric, giving it durability and wear resistance.
