Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2 in goose grey. The CMYK of the plain color is 15 13 14 0, which indicates that it is a neutral and elegant greyish tone. This secondary color combines well with light tones such as white or beige, and dark tones such as black or navy blue.

It is important to highlight that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The general characteristics of the base fabric are that it is elastic, soft to the touch and resistant to chlorine, in addition to having high UV protection (50+).

The Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2 can be used in a variety of applications, such as sportswear for women, men and children, lingerie such as bodysuits and bras/bralettes, knitwear, tops, scrunchies, bikinis and swimsuits. In addition, the fabric is suitable for use throughout the year, as it is timeless.

To keep the fabric in the best condition, a series of specific care instructions must be followed. Any type of bleaching should be avoided and it cannot be tumble dried. In addition, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron at a cold temperature, and dry cleaning is allowed except trichloroethylene.

For the manufacture of this fabric, polyester sublimation printing technology is used, a process in which the colors are printed on a transfer paper and then transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure. This method results in a sharp and durable image on the fabric, and is especially suitable for printing elastic fabrics.
