Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Its width is 150 cm and its care includes no bleaching, no tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature. This fabric is used for different purposes, such as lingerie, knitwear, swimwear, and more, being timeless for any of its uses.

The secondary printed color is a banana yellow with a CMYK of 13 1 70 0, which indicates that the yellow tone is predominant. This color is accompanied by warm tones such as orange and red, creating an energetic and striking combination. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side, using digital textile printing.

The base fabric and its printed color have notable characteristics, such as elasticity and softness in texture and feel, in addition to offering very high UV protection 50+. These characteristics are chlorine resistant when washing the garment.

Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, it can be added that it is used for sports for both men and women, for lingerie especially for bralettes and bikinis, for fashion in knitwear and tops, as well as for accessories such as scrunchies. It can also be used in the manufacture of swimsuits and bikinis due to its chlorine resistance.

When it comes to fabric care, washing should be done at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and dry cleaning is allowed, except for trichloroethylene. A tumble dryer should not be used for drying.

Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows high-quality printing on one side of the fabric, without leaving scars or marks on the fabric.
