The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Cairo weighing 220 gr/m2, made of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, with a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is an elegant Glacial Ice Blue with a CMYK of 89 46 32 17. This shade evokes the sparkle of ice on a sunny winter day. Additionally, the secondary color present in the print is a pale gray tone, which brings a sense of serenity to the ensemble. The perfect combination for Glacial Ice Blue could be white or black, although it could also be highlighted by combining it with warm tones, such as pastel pink or terracotta.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not dyed but printed on one side only. The Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2 stands out for being elastic and soft to the touch, and it also features a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+. The solid printed color is characterized by being vibrant and fade-resistant.
This fabric has a wide range of applications and uses. On one hand, it is perfect for sports garments for women, men, and children, as well as lingerie and tops. It is also ideal for creating sports or fashion bikinis and swimsuits. Regarding accessories, it is excellent for making Scrunchies.
As for care, it is recommended to avoid bleaching and washing at temperatures above 40º C. If dry cleaning is needed, it is permitted except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should always be done at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing by transferring ink from the paper print to the fabric using heat, achieving excellent image quality and great color durability.
