The base fabric, Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2, features a solid printed color of Lapis Lazuli Blue, represented by a CMYK of 100 87 24 5. This color symbolizes wisdom and trust, and is technically achieved with a high concentration of Cyan and Magenta ink, and a lower concentration of Yellow and Black. It harmonizes well with neutral tones such as white and black, as well as complementary tones like orange and yellow.
It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means there is no dye penetrating the fabric fiber but rather a layer of ink printed on the surface of the fabric.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elasticity, softness, and chlorine resistance, in addition to very high UV protection 50+. In terms of use, it can be applied to sportswear, lingerie, and fashion, for both men and women, as well as accessories like scrunchies. Its intense and refreshing color is particularly suitable for swimsuits, bikinis, and bathing suits, to add a touch of freshness to the beach or pool.
Caring for the Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2 fabric is simple but important, as it is recommended not to bleach or tumble dry, as well as to iron at a cool temperature and wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows ink to be transferred from printed paper (in this case, with the solid color design) to the fabric surface using high temperature and pressure. This ensures vibrant color, sharpness, and durability in the print, while maintaining the original softness and elasticity of the fabric.
