Description

The base fabric used is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. The plain color printed is a platinum grey, with a combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow inks in a ratio of 15:7:12, while black ink is not used. This shade of grey offers an elegant and sophisticated look, making it a suitable choice for sportswear and swimwear.

The fabric is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and has a very high UV Protection Factor (UPF), making it perfect for sportswear such as tights, leggings, bikinis, or swimsuits. Additionally, its soft texture and feel make it ideal for lingerie or bodysuits. The platinum grey color pairs perfectly with white and black, as well as with brown and dark blue tones.

It should be noted that the fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side only, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This gives the color greater definition and sharpness than conventional dyed fabrics.

Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.

The printing technology used is sublimation onto polyester, which ensures greater precision and durability of the printed color. This process involves printing an image onto transfer paper with special inks, and then transferring that image to the fabric using heat and pressure, so that the inks are permanently fixed to the fabric. Sublimation allows for greater definition and detail in printing, as well as increased resistance to fading and wear.
