The base fabric for this material is Lycra Polyester - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a width of 150 cm and suitable for use in lingerie, swimwear, sportswear, and fashion in general. The solid printed color is thistle purple, with a cyan ink content of 14%, magenta of 21%, yellow of 7%, and black of 0%, resulting in a CMYK of 14 21 7 0. The secondary color is a strong violet tone with a touch of pink, which pairs well with neutral tones such as beige and gray, as well as brighter colors like orange and yellow. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is printed rather than dyed.
The general characteristics of this fabric are its soft and elastic texture, making it very comfortable to wear in any garment, in addition to being chlorine-resistant and having a very high UV protection factor (50+). Furthermore, the solid printed color has a soft and uniform appearance thanks to the printing technology used, giving the garment a modern and sophisticated look.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, it is ideal for lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, tights or leggings, leotards, and any womens, mens, or childrens sportswear. Thanks to its elasticity and resistance, it is also very suitable for fashion garments, especially in the field of swimwear.
Concerning the care instructions for this fabric, it should not be bleached or tumble-dried; moreover, it is essential to respect a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC and to use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning. Finally, it is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature.
Lastly, it is important to mention that sublimation technology (polyester) has been used for printing this fabric, which allows colors to be permanently fixed onto the fabric by transferring them from a special printed paper through heat and pressure. This achieves excellent print quality and a durable and resistant result.
