The Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is a stretchy and resistant fabric, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a light pink with a CMYK of 8 13 9 0, vibrant and cheerful, which combines especially well with neutral tones, such as black, white or gray, and other pastel tones. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its soft and elastic texture and feel stand out, as well as its chlorine resistance and very high UV protection 50+. Regarding its applications, it is ideal for both lingerie and underwear, as well as swimwear, such as swimsuits, bikinis or sports leggings, as well as leotards. It is also suitable for swimwear fashion. As for the season, it is a timeless fabric that can be used at any time of the year.
For the care of the fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron it at a low temperature and do not tumble dry it. Dry cleaning is also allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which consists of applying a special ink to transfer paper and then transferring it by heat and pressure to the surface of the fabric, achieving high color fidelity and deep ink penetration into the fabric. This process allows obtaining high-quality designs, with a wide range of colors and precise details.
