The base fabric, Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, features a plain color printed in pink and rose gold with a CMYK of 6 20 9 0. This secondary color perfectly combines with earthy tones such as beige, brown, and olive green, and can also be enhanced with brighter tones like white and gold.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning that no dyes were used to achieve the color; instead, it was printed through an elaborate technological process.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and has a very high UV protection factor (50+). These features make this fabric ideal for swimwear and sportswear, as well as for intimate or compression wear. Additionally, its soft and silky feel makes it perfect for fashion clothing, such as bikinis, swimsuits, or leggings.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC without using chlorine, and it should not be ironed at high temperatures. Furthermore, the use of tumble dryers should be avoided, and although dry cleaning is allowed, the use of trichloroethylene is not recommended.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is a process where ink turns into vapor, penetrating the fabric fibers to create a durable and wear-resistant print. This process achieves high precision and sharpness in printing, resulting in an printed fabric quality far superior to other more conventional printing methods.
