The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, 270 gr/m2, made of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with an elastic finish, chlorine resistance, and very high UV protection. The plain printed color is Platinum Gray, with a CMYK of 13 9 9 0, which produces a soft and elegant hue. This color combines particularly well with earthy tones, beige, white, and black, creating a very attractive chromatic harmony.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This allows the color intensity to be maintained even after many washes.
The Polyester Lycra - Nairobi features general characteristics such as its pleasant texture to the touch and its elasticity, making it perfect for manufacturing fitted garments. Furthermore, its chlorine-resistant finish allows its use in swimwear or sportswear that requires a high level of durability.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied and extensive, being ideal for manufacturing lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, leggings, among others. Thanks to its very high UV protection, it is also highly recommended for summer clothing.
It is important to consider the specific care this fabric requires, such as not bleaching, maintaining a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC, not tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature. Additionally, dry cleaning is permitted except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is digital textile sublimation printing, which allows for perfect color fixation in the fabric fibers, guaranteeing a high-quality and durable image, without affecting the softness and elasticity of the fabric.
