The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, 270 gr/m2, with a width of 150 cm and a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. The solid printed color is Iris Purple, with a CMYK of 76 95 4 0. This color has a purple hue and presents nuances of dark violet with iridescent flashes.
The secondary color of Iris Purple is a deep purple hue, which combines well with dark shades such as black, gray, and navy blue. It can also be combined with lighter tones such as white and pale pink.
The base fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, meaning it is not a dyed fabric, but printed on one side. The Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is an elastic fabric, chlorine resistant, and with very high UV protection (50+).
Among its applications and uses, we can highlight lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings for men, women, and children. It is also used in the fashion sector for creating swimwear.
For the care of the base fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned using any solvent except trichloroethylene, and ironing at a low temperature is recommended. It should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that allows direct printing on synthetic fiber fabrics using heat and pressure, ensuring excellent color fixation and great durability over time.
