The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra, with a weight of 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. Its width is 150 cm, and its name is Nairobi. The solid color printed on this fabric is Purple, also known as Monster Purple, with a CMYK of 89 100 15 5. This color is a deep tone that evokes mystery and creativity, and combines particularly well with pink, blue, and green tones.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on only one side, using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on the surface of the base fabric. Regarding its characteristics, Nairobi Polyester Lycra is elastic and chlorine-resistant, with a very high sun protection factor of 50+ UPF. Its texture is soft to the touch and elegant, making it ideal for different applications and uses.
The fabric can be used for making lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, among other uses. Thanks to its elastic properties and chlorine resistance, it is very suitable for creating sportswear and swimwear that require greater durability and comfort.
Regarding care, it is recommended to avoid bleaching the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The fabric allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a low temperature. It is important to note that it cannot be tumble dried, as this can affect the elasticity and properties of the fabric.
The printing technology used for this fabric is polyester sublimation, which means that the color merges with the fibers of the fabric, creating a durable and wear-resistant print. This allows for a wide variety of designs and patterns, with bright and vibrant colors that do not fade easily. In summary, the Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2 is a versatile, resistant, and elegant fabric, ideal for different applications and uses in the world of fashion and sports.
