The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, with a composition of 82% Polyester and 18% Elastane, available in a plain printed color of Purple and Periwinkle, with a CMYK of 13 27 4 0. Purple is a color that represents spirituality, creativity, and tranquility. The secondary color Periwinkle is a mix of white, black, and gray, which produces a neutral and sophisticated tone. This color is associated with elegance and seriousness. The printed Purple color here combines well with complementary colors such as green, yellow, pink, and orange.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The texture of the fabric is elastic and its finish is chlorine-resistant, making it an ideal fabric for lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear. The Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2 also has a UV Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+, which makes it suitable for garments that must protect from solar radiation.
The applications and uses of this base fabric are wide and can include lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, tights and leggings, as well as fashion garments. In addition, thanks to its chlorine resistance, it is ideal for garments used in swimming pools and beaches. Given its elasticity, this fabric allows great freedom of movement and comfort.
It is important to take into account the necessary care for this base fabric, which includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning allowed with the exception of trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. In this way, the useful life of the fabric is extended and its elasticity and resistance are preserved.
This fabric is manufactured using sublimation technology (Polyester), which implies high-quality and durable digital printing on the surface of the fabric. Sublimation is a process that involves transferring ink from special paper to the surface of the fabric through heat and pressure. The result is a print with vibrant and durable colors on the surface of the fabric, without affecting its elasticity or texture.
