Description

The base fabric is Polyester Lycra, specifically the Nairobi 270 gr/m2, made of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Plum Pastel Red, with a CMYK of 32 100 62 45. This secondary color is characterized by being a soft and warm tone, which combines very well with red, blue, and dark green shades, as well as with classic black and white. It also blends perfectly with orange and purple tones.

This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the ink adheres only to the surface of the fabric without penetrating it, providing excellent definition, vibrancy, and resistance in the print. Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric and the solid color, it is worth noting that Lycra is an elastic and light fabric, with a soft and comfortable texture to the touch, resistant to chlorine and with a high UV protection factor of 50+. For its part, the printed solid color guarantees excellent fixation, quality, and durability of the color, as well as the ability to remain intact after multiple washes.

Among the applications and uses of this fabric, lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear for women, men, and children, particularly for swimwear, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, as well as for general swimwear manufacturing, stand out. It is also an excellent option for fashion swimwear garments, such as swimsuits or bikinis, due to its necessary degree of resistance and elasticity for this type of garment.

It is important to consider certain care instructions to maintain the quality of this fabric, such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not tumble drying, and ironing at a low temperature. In addition, dry cleaning products can be used, except those containing trichloroethylene.

Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation. This consists of applying ink to a transfer paper sheet, which is then placed in contact with the surface of the fabric and subjected to high temperatures and pressure. The ink turns into vapor, adheres to the surface of the fabric, and fixes upon cooling, allowing for the creation of high-quality and high-definition custom designs.
