Polyester Lycra - Nairobi 270 gr/m2

The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, and the solid printed color is daisy pink with a CMYK of 14 53 40 3. This secondary tone is characterized by being vibrant, fresh, and youthful, evoking spring and joy. It combines perfectly with light tones, such as sky blue or white, creating a harmonious and soft contrast in the garment.

The fabric is printed with a solid color on one side, using digital textile printing technology. This means that the design is printed only on one side of the fabric, precisely and sharply, achieving superior image quality compared to screen printing.

Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric, we can highlight its smooth and soft texture to the touch, thanks to its composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. In addition, it is elastic and chlorine resistant, which makes it ideal for sportswear and swimwear. It also has a high UV protection factor of 50+, protecting the skin from sun rays.

The applications of the fabric are varied, being perfect for lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear. Specifically for bikinis, swimsuits, tights, leggings, and leotards. Furthermore, its use is not limited to a specific season, as it is timeless.

Regarding the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and not to use a dryer. Likewise, dry cleaning is possible, except with trichloroethylene, and ironing at a cool temperature.

The printing technology used is sublimation (polyester), which is used for high-quality and personalized materials. The process consists of printing the design on transfer paper and transferring it to the fabric by heat pressing, so that it fuses with the textile fibers. This results in a durable and environmentally friendly print, as it does not use water or toxic chemicals.
