The base fabric is a Nairobi Polyester Lycra of 270 gr/m2 with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is dark brown, with a CMYK of 43 70 91 64. This color conveys elegance, seriousness, and sophistication, making it ideal for more formal or traditional garments. Dark brown combines very well with neutral tones such as beige, white, and black, but also with warmer tones such as orange, pink, and red.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which allows the image to be permanently fixed and not fade over time. The texture of the fabric is soft and elastic, with a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, making it an ideal choice for swimwear and sportswear. In addition, its thickness of 270 gr/m2 makes it perfect for more body-hugging garments such as tights, leggings, or leotards.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, tights, leggings, and leotards for women, men, and children stand out. Its sublimation printing technology (polyester) allows for the creation of prints with great detail and intense and vibrant colors, which further expands design possibilities.
For the care of this fabric, some recommendations should be taken into account. Do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, allow dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry. In this way, proper care is guaranteed and the quality of the fabric is preserved for longer.
Regarding sublimation printing technology, a high-resolution printer and a heat press are used to transfer the design to the fabric. The process is carried out at high temperatures and pressures so that the sublimation ink turns into gas and penetrates the polyester fiber of the fabric, which permanently fixes the design. This does not affect the elasticity or texture of the fabric and allows for a wide variety of design options.
