The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Nairobi with a weight of 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a soft texture and elasticity that will allow for comfort in use. The solid color printed on this fabric is a cantaloupe orange, which is achieved with 9% cyan ink, 27% magenta ink, 39% yellow ink, and 1% black ink in its digital textile printing production. This cantaloupe orange color is bright, with a distinctive and attractive character that can be perfectly combined with other colors such as white, black, and different shades of gray.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric and its solid color, this fabric is chlorine resistant and has a very high UV protection UPF 50+. In addition, its finish gives it great elasticity. For its part, the solid color offers high printing quality and durability in regular use. It should be noted that the fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing and is not a dyed fabric.
The applications and uses of this Lycra are very varied and versatile, as it is ideal for sportswear such as leotards and leggings, as well as for swimwear, whether in swimsuits or bikinis. However, it is also used in lingerie and bodysuits, which adds extra softness and comfort. Furthermore, its use is not limited to a particular season, as it adapts perfectly to any time of year.
It is important to note that to keep this fabric in good condition, certain care instructions must be followed. Therefore, it should be noted that it should not be bleached, should not be washed at temperatures above 40ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, it should be ironed at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the sublimation printing technology is based on the use of certain special inks that, when exposed to high temperatures through a pressing process, turn into gas and adhere to the polyester fibers, thus achieving high printing quality and durability in regular use.
