The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, 270 gr/m2, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with an elastic texture and a chlorine-resistant and very high UPF - UV Protection Factor 50+ finish. The plain printed color is canary yellow, with a CMYK of 6 0 89 0, which means it contains mainly yellow and minimal cyan inks, giving it a very vibrant and bright color. This secondary color combines very well with colors like navy blue, lime green, and bright orange.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which provides high-definition images and uniform, long-lasting color. Lycra Nairobi is especially suitable for making sportswear and swimwear, as well as lingerie and fashion garments such as leggings and bodysuits.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, lingerie, swimwear, bikinis, tights, leotards, and bodysuits stand out. In addition, it can also be used in fashion for fitted dresses, tops, and leggings. Lycra Nairobi has superior quality and resistance, which makes it suitable for intensive use and prolonged exposure in aquatic environments.
Among the care instructions for this fabric are do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not tumble dry, and do not use trichloroethylene in dry cleaning. In addition, it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used for Lycra Nairobi is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design through heat and pressure onto the surface of the fabric. This technique guarantees durable color adhesion to the fiber, which increases resistance to wear and fading over time.
