The base fabric is Nairobi Polyester Lycra, 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. The plain printed color is an olive green, obtained by combining CMYK inks in the following proportions: 40% cyan, 31% magenta, 100% yellow, and 15% black. This color is a subtle and elegant shade that conveys calm and naturalness, combining perfectly with other earth tones and darker greens.
It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side only, meaning the color is only on one side of the fabric, not both.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric is elastic and resistant, with a very high UV protection finish (50+), making it perfect for swimwear or sportswear. Additionally, it is chlorine-resistant, making it ideal for use in swimming pools.
Applications and uses for the base fabric include lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, leggings, leotards, and swimming trunks. This fabric is especially recommended for sportswear due to its elasticity and chlorine resistance.
Care instructions include: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not tumble dry, iron at a cool temperature, and do not use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning.
The printing technology used is sublimation, which involves printing the design onto transfer paper and then transferring it onto the fabric using heat and pressure. This way, the design is integrated into the fabric fibers and withstands the test of time and washing without losing its intensity.
