The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, in a solid Lavender Blue color, with a CMYK of 11 7 1 0. It is an elastic and resistant fabric, with a finish that makes it chlorine-resistant and provides a high UV protection factor of 50+. The secondary Lavender Blue color is associated with calmness, harmony, and tranquility. It pairs very well with other shades of blue, with white, and with pastel colors like pink and yellow. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only.
The base fabric is perfect for lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, bikinis, tights and leggings for any gender, and leotards. Additionally, thanks to the fabrics elasticity, it adapts to the body, making its use in garments that require a snug fit highly recommended. The bottoms of a bikini, the neckline of a leotard, or the straps of a bodysuit can be made with Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, providing a softness and elasticity that the body will appreciate with every movement.
It is important to follow the manufacturers cleaning recommendations to ensure the fabrics durability. Temperatures above 40ºC should be avoided, and bleaching is not allowed. If dry cleaning is necessary, the process should be done without trichloroethylene. For optimal ironing, it is recommended to do so at a low temperature. Furthermore, a tumble dryer cannot be used to dry the fabric.
The printing technology for Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is sublimation (polyester). This is a process where ink is printed onto transfer paper and then applied to the fabric using high temperatures and pressure. The image is revealed on the fabric, creating a durable and wear-resistant effect. It is important to mention that this technique is used for printing polyester fabrics, with digital textile printing being the most suitable option for printing designs on this type of fabric surface.
