The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, 270 gr/m2, in corn yellow printed with Cyan 4, Magenta 0, Yellow 49, and Black 0 inks. The printed color has a soft and warm hue, with a light yellow tint resembling corn. This hue is influenced by the prominent presence of Yellow ink in the CMYK. The corn yellow color pairs particularly well with earthy and natural tones, as well as with grays, greens, and sky blues, showcasing a versatile and natural character.
It is worth noting that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures high image quality and excellent durability. The fabric texture is soft and elastic, with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection indicator of 50+.
The general characteristics of the base fabric and its printed color are of high quality, with high resistance to water, use, and wear. The applications and uses of this fabric are wide, being especially used in the manufacture of lingerie, sportswear, bikinis, and swimsuits. It is also suitable for making leotards and sports tights, and can be used in swimwear fashion and a wide spectrum of fashion garments.
The care instructions for the base fabric are: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not permitted.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which uses a chemical process to permanently transfer the image to the fabric, ensuring high image quality and vibrant colors resistant to wear, sun, and water. This printing technique is commonly used for printing polyester fabrics, as the ink adheres well to this material.
