Description

The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2. The solid printed color is a deep sea green, created from a blend of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks with a CMYK of 76 31 61 17. This color symbolizes the depth and calmness of the ocean while also providing a sense of vitality and fresh energy. It pairs particularly well with yellow and white tones, creating a striking contrast. Its important to note that the fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing.

The general characteristics of the base fabric include a soft and elastic texture, along with a chlorine-resistant finish, making it ideal for lingerie, sportswear, and swimwear. Additionally, it boasts a Very High UV Protection Factor 50+, perfect for sun exposure during water activities.

Regarding its most notable applications and uses, Polyester Lycra is perfectly suited for tight-fitting and comfortable garments, such as Bodysuits, Leotards, or Leggings. It is also commonly used in swimwear and footwear fashion, as well as in the production of sportswear like swimsuits or bikinis.

For care instructions, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, its important to note that the fabric is not suitable for tumble drying and should always be ironed at a cool temperature. Finally, Polyester Lycra allows for dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene.

The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which uses polyester as a base to apply special inks that turn into gas when subjected to high temperatures and pressures. In this way, the inks merge with the polyester fibers, creating a durable and fade-resistant printed color.
