The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a width of 150 cm and available in a plain printed opaque Cyan Blue color with a CMYK of 20 3 14 0. This color is characterized by being fresh, relaxing, and serene, and combines especially well with white, grey, and other shades of blue and green.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only, using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. In addition, it features an elastic texture and feel, with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV Protection Factor of 50+.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its versatility for applications in lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear, for women, men, or children, such as leotards, tights, or leggings, stands out. These applications are due to the elasticity and resistance of the fabric, providing comfort and a perfect fit to the figure.
It is important to consider the care this fabric needs, such as no bleaching, maximum washing temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning allowed except trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and no tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, a technique that uses heat to fix the ink in the fabric and allows high definition of designs, as well as great resistance to fading and washing.
